Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains, in plain language, what personal information Currant Insights, LLC (“Currant,” “we,” “us”) collects when you visit currantinsights.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. In short: we collect only what you give us or what’s needed to run the site; we use it to respond to you, to send updates you’ve asked for, and to keep the site working; and we never sell your information.

- Information you give us. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the subject and content of your message. If you check the box to receive Currant’s articles, white papers, and cartoons, we also collect your email address for that purpose.

We also use Google Analytics to collect aggregated statistics about how visitors use the site — such as pages viewed, device and browser type, and general location (derived from your IP address) — to help us improve our content.
How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- respond to your inquiries and correspond with you;
- if you opt in, add you to Currant’s contact list and send you our articles, white papers, and cartoons by email. These emails are sent through Constant Contact, the email marketing service we use for our mailing list. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, and we’ll stop;
- protect the site from spam and abuse;
- operate, secure, and maintain the website; and
- understand how visitors use our site, through Google Analytics, so we can improve our content.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
When we share information
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the site, and only as needed:
- Hosting — our site is hosted by Bluehost, which stores the site’s data and server logs.
- Email correspondence — messages from our contact form are delivered to us using Microsoft 365.
- Email newsletter — if you opt in, we store your email address with Constant Contact so we can send you our updates. Constant Contact processes this information on our behalf and maintains its own privacy policy.
- Spam filtering — we use Akismet (a service of Automattic) to detect spam. Contact-form submissions (including the email address and IP address) are sent to Akismet to check whether they are spam.
- Analytics — we use Google Analytics (a service of Google) to understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data such as pages viewed, device and browser type, and general location; Google processes this information on our behalf. It does not receive your name or the contents of your messages.

We protect the site with HTTPS encryption and security software. No website can be completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to safeguard your information.
Children
Our site is intended for a professional audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
International visitors
Currant is based in, and our site is hosted in, the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States.
